[He was proud. Yesterday, his team had won the finals of the Football Frontier, he had the trophy sitting on his desk in his room. His father had praised him, Kageyama had praised him, his schoolmates cheered his name as he returned to school. He was regarded as a hero, of sorts. And he was one step closer to being able to live with his sister again. Yes, he was a very proud boy.

And yet, as he walked home from the grocery store, he felt like he was missing something.

[ Then his eyes bulge out in sudden realization. ]

[He jumps a little at Endou's yell, really startled.]

W-what's wrong?!

I totally forgot! The eggs!! Ah - not good, not good.

[ He starts running back to where the eggs were, but momentarily stops to run in place and looks back at Kidou. ]

Sorry Kidou, I have to go on ahead first. But let's meet up later to play more soccer, okay?

[He blinks a few times and smiles.]

[ Endou quickly grabs his groceries and continues to run backwards up the bank. ]

[He sighs in relief as Endou makes it up the river bank without tripping and smiles again.]
