[So it looks like Fudou has broken his leg... Honestly, what was he thinking doing something dangerous like that... if Kidou was still on his team, he'd give him quite a scolding.

Though... actually... he gave him quite a scolding anyway.

After Fudou was able to be removed from the hospital, Kidou insisted that he stayed at his house rather than his own, so he was able to heal fully and properly. He knew Fudou's mother was busy with work most of the time, so it was up to him to take care of him. And after a long argument, Fudou reluctantly agreed to stay at Kidou's until he was able to take care of himself.


Today, Kidou woke up early enough to make the two a good breakfast, and once it was done cooking, he carried a tray of food into his room, where he set it on a table next to the bed Fudou was still sleeping on.]

[He looked at the clock. 9 am, huh... it wasn't too early to wake up Fudou, right?]

Fudou, wake up. [He gently pokes Fudou's cheek.]

[Surprisingly enough, he's actually pretty hungry, so Fudou eats a good half of the food by himself, not counting Kidou's help. Throughout the meal, Fudou gradually rested his hand that was supporting him behind Kidou, perhaps a little to close for comfort. But that was all he did, and continued to eat like nothing was wrong, even making idle conversation. He was being strangely polite for once.

Some time passes, and through Kidou's sharp directions and Fudou's mutterings/failed attempts to get Kidou to eat it for him, the food was finally gone.]

[After the two finally finished the meal, Kidou gets ready to get up to go put the dishes away but ah... Fudou's arm was still behind him like that... so rather than moving right away, he stares at Fudou's arm for a moment.

Why was it... so close anyway... not that he really minds that much but it was.... a little strange coming from Fudou...]

[jouka]

[He noticed Kidou's staring, but refused to move his arm away. He didn't seem all that put off by it, so perhaps he could push the envelope a little further.]

Something wrong, Kidou-kun~? [He pretended to feign innocence, although it was fairly unbelievable, what with his wolf's grin that had moved closer to Kidou by at least an inch.]

...you're very close. [He raises his gaze to Fudou's face now, which was only a few inches away from Kidou's own face.]

[jouka]

Mn. And? [He shied away from no gaze, let alone Kidou. His grin was still firmly in place.]

[pengeen]

And... it's a little... [He scoots away justtttt a bit.]

Uncomfortable.

[jouka]

[He moves his other hand to move around to Kidou's other side, which actually puts Fudou closer to him.] Hey now, don't run away.

[pengeen]

.... [He doesn't.. really know what to do. So he sits there, his confused expression not about to leave his face.]

[jouka]

[There was a long pause. He looked at Kidou for a long time, trying to evaluate something. After a while, however, he decided that it wasn't time yet, and sighed, and flopped back onto the cushy bed.]

[As soon as Fudou flops onto the bed, Kidou gets up and picks up the tray, ready to leave. He thought that situation was just Fudou being a pill like usual but now that he was looking at Fudou again.. he almost looked disappointed..

He looks from the tray in his hands to his friend as he wonders what to do.]

...are you alright?

[Well... he couldn't leave his friend when he seemed upset, especially since it was his fault...]

[jouka]

Hmph, I'm fine. [He'd gone back to his usual, grouchy self. It's true he was disappointed, but he was a patient guy. He didn't bother with the pleasantries, surely Kidou was just dying to escape.]

[pengeen]

[Of course he doesn't believe that immediately, but he takes the tray back downstairs instead of pressing the subject further. And when he returns, he sits down on a nearby chair.]


...looks like it's going to be another boring day, huh?

[jouka]

There's lots of things we could do to pass the time. [He smirks at Kidou, half serious.]

[pengeen]

...like what?

[jouka]

Why don't you climb on top of me and I'll show you? [He jokes suggestively, smirking. If he was corny enough, he would have thrown in a wink.]

[pengeen]

[He gives Fudou a very flat expression.]

Don't be stupid, you have a broken leg. And I honestly don't see what climbing on top of you would accomplish...

[jouka]

[He snickers. Kidou was as oblivious as ever. It was cute sometimes, but most of the time it was just really funny. At least Kidou himself was a source of entertainment.]

[pengeen]

[Man Fudou was annoying sometimes... saying things and never explaining what he means by them like that... though at the same time, it was one of his charms.

He lets out a sigh and crosses his arms over his chest.]

[jouka]

[Fudou took note of Kidou's sigh and stance. He certainly was cute when he got in a huff.]

Aw, don't be mad Kidou. Not my fault you can't take a hint~

I'm not mad...

[jouka]

[He quirked an eyebrow.] Aren't you?

[pengeen]

No, I'm not. [He raises an eyebrow back at Fudou]

Do I seem mad?

[jouka]

[He snickers and shrugs.] Who knows, you're always getting in a huff about something.
