Ten year development in the Tower

Over the years, Kidou has grown very bitter about the Tower. He's become kind of immune to death now, seeing how no one has ever stayed dead before. So if one of his friends died, he'd simply sigh and wait for them to come back. Of course he'd still try to protect them from getting hurt and dying, he'll never stop being a super protective person. But his reaction to them dying really is less emotional as it used to be.

If you try to talk to him about leaving, he'll simply shrug it off and tell you it's impossible. He's been there for ten years, and he figures if there really was a chance to leave, it would have shown up by then. He has pretty much no hope for returning home left. As for when people really do leave... well so many of his friends have already left and not returned by then, he's also a bit bitter about that too. He tries to not make any lasting friendships with anyone at this point, so when they do leave, it's less painful for him. However, he's still friendly enough to everyone, and he still values the friendships he has made over the years dearly. He's happy when one of his friends has returned after leaving too, but he knows that it'll probably happen again... Which is a little conflicting with his beliefs that you can't leave the tower, but he doesn't think that people that do leave are really away from the tower. Even if they are back in their home, it's destroyed so is that really any different from the tower?

It's Hell, either way.

Because of all of the experiments and death and leaving and pain that has occurred over the ten years, he's a very serious person. It's hard to get him to really smile. He still plays soccer though, when he's really troubled. It helps him relax and think clearly, and it reminds him of the times when things weren't so bad. He would be coaching a soccer team in Animus, but by then, there probably aren't many people interested in it anymore. It was probably big for a year or so when he first started the team, but after a while, everyone including himself have probably lost the drive to keep it going.

All in all, Kidou is really tired of the place and everything happening.

As for physical changes, he;s gotten taller of course. About eight inches! He went from 4'9 to 5'7! He's still a shorty. His hair has gotten longer as well. He cuts it when it starts getting too long, so it's about the same length as it is in GO. He wears it the same way as well, half dreaded half not. Though he pulls it all into his ponytail more often than he wears it halfway down. His clothes have changed too of course. But his taste in clothes hasn't really changed, he's still wearing v-necks and jeans. He probably doesn't have an adult soccer uniform though, he just plays in his normal clothes. And his goggles are too small to wear on his head now, so he keeps them around his neck. They're probably still cracked and they've gotten dirty and worn out over the years.

He's an expert at using the sword now, and he probably has a couple of different ones. He also goes drinking every now and then, but not a lot. About once a month, unless someone invites him.

And finally, around 17 or 18 I'd think, Kidou proposed to Urotsuki. You never know when you'll be separated, so it's better to do something like that early on, right? So they're towermarried now, and he's more comfortable with giving her kisses and hugs. (He probably asked someone to make them rings too)
