1. Shock! An unexpected turn of events!

Kidou Yuuto grew up mostly with his younger sister, Haruna. His parents worked overseas, so they were gone for a lot of the sibling's life. But he still loved his parents, none the less! They took the kids out to fairs and other events when they found the time, and they took as well care of the kids as they could. You could say they were suffocatingly loving when they were home, to make up for being gone days, even weeks at a time. When they were gone, Kidou was left as the man in charge. He took care of his younger sister, played games with her, and spent almost every minute with her. These two were inseparable. Yes, Kidou had a really happy life, with his family. That is, until one day, his parents didn't come home from work.

On that fateful day, when Haruna and Yuuto were waiting to hear from their parents, some people came to their house, looking absolutely upset. Suddenly they were being surrounded by adults, and people were saying things like "they left such young children behind" and "what are we going to do with them now?" Well it turns out, their parents had died in a plane crash, when Kidou was only six and Haruna was five. The only thing that they had to remember their parents by was an old soccer magazine. And it's thanks to that soccer magazine that Kidou picked up soccer, he felt like it was the only connection he had with his biological father left. Whenever he kicks the ball, he feels like he's kicking it with his father.
